How it works.
1) Research
What do you really want? During the quick Discovery Call, our goal is to take up no more than 20 minutes of your time as we gain insight into your general vision. Following that, we'll send you a simple questionnaire to cover more of the details about your design preferences and lifestyle.
Then we'll move onto the virtual Meet & Greet, where we'll cover more about who we are, our overall process, how investing in our signature service can benefit you, and next steps to expect. We'll also formulate some recommendations and set intentional goals that align with your unique needs.
The last step to the research phase is the Initial Visit. We'll meet you on-site to take general measurements, photos, and notes. Beyond that, we're checking to see if the original vision is viable or if it may need to be expanded in order to provide the right solution.
2) Development
After carefully considering your unique needs and personality, we'll schedule a Proposal Presentation. We'll present a customized project mood board and reference images that give insight into our initial design concepts. We'll break down the Scope of Work (SOW) by the recommended deliverables and services for each space, along with details about the investment and timeline.
Upon mutual agreement, we'll get moving on the fun stuff – the Design Presentation!
After our team takes more precise measurements of each space, we'll craft detailed renderings that bring the vision to life. A curated palette of materials and colors will be presented, allowing you to get a peek into the potential look and feel of your soon-to-be transformed space.
Our goal is to eliminate the guessing game so you can clearly visualize the end result — a retreat that you and your family will never want to leave.
3) Procurement
At Elm Hallow, we know time is your most precious resource, which is why we handle every step of the Procurement process for you.
This includes:
Creating and sending out purchase orders (POs) to vendors, including contractors
Following up with vendors to ensure the order is in process
Tracking deliveries at the receiving warehouse
Handling any problems (damaged or incorrect items, delayed shipments, or general miscommunications with vendors)
There's no need for you to play phone tag with vendors or handle returns — we've got it covered.
4) Installation
Fast forward to the moment you walk into your "new" space. Envision the soul-deep joy of stepping into a home that truly loves you back.
Installation is the final phase in our four-part process. Depending on the scope of your project, installation can either happen all-at-once or in separate installments.
If you give us a key, we'll notify you when we'll be there and put all the puzzle pieces together. Once the larger items are in, we'll style each space so that your home tells a harmonious story.
That leaves us with the last and most important step: Coming Home.
